• This paper is to develop a model on synthesis reaction of methanol using material and thermodynamics balance , and to utilize matlab to solve multielement nonlinear equation set on proposed model , so calculate balance composition of reactions , parameters of various materials , various process criteria such as methanol output and consumption according to given operation conditions , thereby can quantitatively analyze the effect of various operation conditions on process criteria , so that direct the actual chemical operation , thus assist to determine the optimal operating conditions of synthesis , consequently could forecast various criteria such as yield and consumption according to given conditions of feeds
